Private, Couples & Group Classes

Private Yoga, Mind-Body, Movement Sessions
You may be new to yoga or be looking to refine your
practice in a one-to-one setting. Learn or review traditional poses, pranayama (breathing techniques), mudras (hand gestures),
and mantras (sanskrit meditative phrases) that will help improve focus and relieve stress while increasing your strength,
balance and flexibility. You may also choose to explore a blend of soft martial arts practices such as tai chi, qigong and
aikido to enhance functional balance and daily living movements.
Couples Yoga
This practice focuses on techniques to promote connecting, trusting and compromise. Couples begin with rhythmic pranayama
breathing seated back to back. Throughout the session, each partner assists the other with numerous stretching and standing
poses. The couple also learns how to give and receive Thai yoga “massage” techniques. No prior Yoga experience
is necessary.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a breath/pose
synchronized movement style of yoga practice where you learn to use finesse rather than force while increasing your strength,
balance and flexibility. Postures are demonstrated and modifications are offered to allow students to participate at the level
of their abilities.
Meditation training
Fitness for the mind! Meditation
techniques can help remove tension from your mind and body along with building your resistance to additional stressors.
Tai Chi & Qigong
Tai Chi Chuan (or Taijiquan) is a traditional Chinese
health exercise and internal martial art using slow flowing movements that are sometimes referred to as "moving meditation".
Tai Chi practice cultivates patience and concentration while increasing strength, balance and coordination. It is also believed
to enhance and circulate Chi (inner energy or bioelectricity). Classes will explore basic Tai Chi movement principles along
with selected sequencing from part one of the classical Yang long-form.
Tree Yoga indoor/outdoor
Tree yoga is a creative practice that uses a yoga sling suspended from a tree--or from indoor overhead supports. We explore
many traditional and unique yoga postures and inversions with the slings to help lengthen the body, enhance flexibility, strength
and balance. Class size limited to ensure personalized attention.
Slackline Yoga
NO MIND ON THE LINE…. Some might call it yoga on a “tight-rope”, yet the rope is really a 1” flat/tubular-webbing
sling tensioned between two solid anchor points. The line is very dynamic and stretches a bit so that yoga postures can be
practiced on the line. Very challenging, but positioned low to the ground with a grab line above to enhance the safety
of your practice. This is a way for anyone who wants to unlock his or her extreme balance potential!
